Where is my data stored?
On your device. CanopyOS keeps your intentions, reflections, energy logs, and voice captures locally on your iPhone. There is no CanopyOS account and no server that receives your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How does the voice capture (“Understory”) work?
You record a short voice note, and CanopyOS transcribes it right on your device using Apple’s on-device Speech framework. Nothing is uploaded. You can delete a clip’s audio anytime while keeping (or also removing) the transcript.
Do I need a Google account?
No. Connecting Google Calendar is optional and only used to help block focus time. The core app works fully without any sign-in. You can disconnect Google Calendar anytime in Settings, which revokes CanopyOS’s access to your Google account.
How do I connect or disconnect Apple Health or Calendar?
Open Settings inside the App to connect or disconnect Apple Health, Apple Calendar, and Google Calendar. You can also manage these permissions anytime in the iOS Settings app under Privacy & Security.
How do I delete my data?
Open Settings in the App and tap Delete All Data. This permanently removes your intentions, reflections, and energy data from your device.
What iPhone and iOS version do I need?
CanopyOS requires iPhone running iOS 26 or later.
Is CanopyOS a medical app?
No. CanopyOS is a wellness and focus tool. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical or mental-health care. If you have health concerns, please consult a qualified professional.
